The senior consultant and founder of fluidIT solutions is Carole St. Laurent. Carole has twenty years of experience designing and delivering complex Information Technology solutions. She was the business analyst for an award-winning interactive mutual fund application, coded custom online trading systems in Canada and Europe, launched an online newsletter that tripled her client's website traffic in three months, and developed a custom Content Management System to coordinate multi-lingual websites of a firm with 40 global offices. Her full range of experience, from programming to project management, have ensured her clients' projects are successful. But her dedication may be what left the biggest impression.

In addition to delivering corporate solutions and financial systems, Carole's passion for global justice has led her to apply her technical skills to community development in Africa. Her hands-on involvement in international development began with a life-changing trip to Kenya in 1992, where she experienced firsthand The Sharing Way's work in training, agriculture, and refugee camps. This motivated her to pursue her Master's degree in Appropriate Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for Development in Africa. Her experience includes ICT capacity building in Nigeria, development project design and implementation, consulting on world-class financial remittance systems to UNDP Somalia, and delivering the first ICT course ever offered at the renowned Coady International Institute.
